It requires all employees, suppliers and contractors to support this policy.
The following steps will be carried out to ensure compliance:-
- The company will review at least once annually the environmental impact of its processes and operations.
- Resources will be managed to ensure the minimum wasteage. The company will report on wasteage annually.
- Recycling of materials such as waste yarn, cardboard and paper will be carried out.
- The company will work with suppliers and subcontractors to encourage environmentally friendly practices and processes.
- The company will maintain an environmental management manual and appoint an officer to administer the system.
