Coolmax Spacer Fabric for Body Armour
During 2008 Baltex was approaced by a key Body Armour producer to develop a material which would help keep the wearer cool inspite of hot climatic conditions. In collaboration with the University of Bolton the company developed a 3 D Spacer fabric made from Coolmax Fresh FX yarns which has exceptional moisture and heat transfer properties. To this day there is nothing to beat it on the market. The fabric has been independently tested and we are now evolving the next generation.
Healthcare Fabrics
Baltex has recently developed laminated Spacer fabrics for use in rehabilitation equipment. The fabrics allow new uses of the 3D fabrics which have excellent pressure distribution properties.
