BALTEX DEVELOPS NOVEL 3D SPACER FABRIC WITH COOLING PROPERTIES
Baltex has recently developed a novel Spacer fabric using a novel cooling monofilament which has excellent thermal conductivity. We will be publishing more information on this important new development soon.
BALTEX DEVELOPS BOMB BLAST NETTING - MARCH 2010
Baltex has recently developed bomb blast netting for one of its customers. This fabric catches fragments of glass in case of an explosion. The company is now looking to develop this concept further using its Faratec Technology.

QUEEN'S AWARD FOR ENTERPRISE 2009
Baltex celebrated its second time as winner in the International Trade category of the Queen's Awards for Enterprise 2009. The company now exports to 24 countries in a wide range of markets and continues to build it's position as the supplier of choice for knitted technical textiles.
Baltex MD Charles Wood said of the award " This is a team effort by all our staff and proves UK manufacturing can work. We are excited by the prospect of growth within the Technical Textiles area and are now recruiting staff to follow this growth."
TECHTEXTIL 2009
Baltex exhibited in Frankfurt at Techtextil from the 16th to the 18th of June this year.
We presented a number of new fabrics including:
Coolmax XD Spacer fabric for body armour and other applications
Developments with a novel cooling fibre
Laminated XD Spacer fabrics for healthcare applications.
