 Airopress

In cooperation with the University of Bolton, Baltex has developed Airopress, a novel Single-Layer 3D Knitted Spacer Compression Bandage System intended to replace current multi-level bandage systems.

Airopress excels in its function of providing long-lasting compression without being as bulky, as uncomfortable, and as difficult to apply as other multi-layer bandage systems. It also offers greater breathability. We are proud to be offering something that makes application easier for medical professionals and treatment more comfortable for patients.

Baltex believes strongly in thorough and comprehensive testing and quality control. All aspects of the quality procedure are kept in focus in the supply to our customers: from the technical specifications of the fabrics, to the compliance to our customers’ production process and applications.

With this in mind, we ensure that each step of our production is under control and we have full traceability from the start of the process to the delivery to the customer. Looking toward the future, our technical team work closely with our partners to provide development projects that support the future needs in technical textiles for the healthcare and medical sector. We keep in close contact with the sector to keep up to date with the latest needs and requirements when it comes to medical fabrics.
