Baltex have developed a new fabric for the manufacture of technical facemasks for the general public. Utilising our 3D fabric manufacturing capability enables us to offer many additional benefits for the wearer over other types of textiles used for face masks.

The 3 dimensional textile provides two layers of fabric in a single construction.

  • Comfortable due to compression behaviour of the fabric – helps reduce any pressure points on the face.
  • Inherently anti-bacterial – Keeping your mask fresh 24/7.
  • Incorporates moisture wicking yarn
  • Cough dispersion airflow – fabric construction diverts expelled air.
  • Machine washable at 60 allows reusability.
  • Quick drying - Dries up to 30% faster than other yarns
  • Reusability reduces environmental impact vs disposable masks.
  • Printable
  • Thickness: 3mm
  • Colour: Black
  • Manufactured in the UK

This fabric is also available with the Polygiene Viral Off treatment. https://polygiene.com/viraloff/
